The teacher of Kowhai Class is Calla Alexander

 

Kowhai is Te Ranga’s new entrant classroom. We aim to keep this class between 12-18 students. Mrs A is an experienced teacher who integrates a playbased programme into her class as well as learning language through Phonics.

 

Before starting in Kowhai class, new students can enjoy a smooth transition through Te Ranga’s Kickstart Programme. Mrs A, and sometimes the whole Kowhai Class, visit new children at their ECE centre.  New enrollees can make transition visits on Thursday’s in preparation to their start at school.
